Frank Gallo

Born in 1933, Frank Gallo has had an extensive career, and his artwork has been exhibited in more than 50 galleries and museums throughout the world, including the Art Institute of Chicago; the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York; the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C.; and the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Milan, Italy.
He is primarily interested in the human form, and his work captures the subtle lines of the human figure, often elongated and distorted. Gallo has commented, "I'm interested in the beauty of the female figure, and I'm trying to express it, the way I feel it."
