Keith Tomaszewsky Keith Tomaszewsky, Senior Vice President has twenty-four years of experience in the fine art industry. Keith brings to S2 Art a broad base of knowledge and professional insight to the representation and promotion of contemporary artists. Having worked as both Director of Atlas Gallery in Chicago from 1981 to 1988 and as Vice President for Circle Fine Art Corporation from 1988 to 1996, Keith’s experiences incorporate a wide range of aesthetics. In his seven years as Director of Atlas Gallery, Keith organized artist exhibitions and managed the gallery’s overall sales activities. With the publicly-owned Circle Fine Art Corporation (CFA), Keith supervised the sales and retail operations of thirty-six galleries located throughout the United States and Canada, paving the way for his current involvement with galleries and museum institutions worldwide. At CFA, Keith worked closely with museum-housed artists including Yaacov Agam, Norman Rockwell, and Victor Vasarely as well with Time Life photographers such as Alfred Eisenstaedt. In his associations with artists and photographers over the years, Keith has maintained a fundamental regard for the integrity of an artist’s philosophy and creative vision. He has had the pleasure and privilege of supporting and furthering the careers of many world-renowned artists, including Tom Everhart, Todd Goldman, Gordon Parks and Al Hirschfeld. His approach to representing artists at S2 Art has evolved accordingly, and although he takes professional interest in successfully positioning an artist’s work within a constantly evolving art market through gallery development and hosting international exhibitions, his primary motivation derives from a lifelong passion for art. Keith earned his BFA and his MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |
